I've been in the market for a utv.. Honda pioneer/ Polaris RZR.. etc. those things are soo expensive. I wonder how a RAV4 like this would compare.. maybe a on some RZR size tires.. 15 inch narrow rims.. half doors.. small tube bumpers front and rear.. maybe even a small bed in the back with enclosed cabin in front.. a hunting trail riding rig. no one has built one. would be awesome to take all fenders off lights off and do a exocage of some sort.. really considering this year RAV4 as the Honda pioneer and Polaris are about just as wide or wider than this.

My first car was a 1977 Celica purchased in 1980. The first time I did a tune-up on it, my cousin went to close the hood without lifting the hood prop first, and before I could stop him, he twisted it all out of alignment and caused play in the flimsy prop and hinges. After that, I had to be very careful closing the hood to keep the rear corners from scraping against the fender folds. It was a very fun car to drive, especially compared to my fathers Vega. And it was fun to work on and modify. Thrush muffler, upgraded stereo and speakers, CB radio, coil spring stiffeners, and other things I can't remember. I think that generation of Celica was more American styled, and the bright yellow paint really made it stand out, until the rust started to consume it. Cool video with some interesting history.

The correct term for this method is called laser sintering, it’s been around quite a while, I remember seeing parts made this way at the Motorsport show at Birmingham NEC , in UK maybe 18 years or more ago.

More specifically, V-band clamps. Used 'em on air ducts for jet engines.

It really shows how inefficient 3D printing still is. Hell even 3D scanning. If we manage to avoid another World War (improbable with these crazy leaders), these technologies will evolve into something usefull and who knows, maybe even more affordable as well.

Called heel-toe downshifts. I used to drive Angeles Crest in my datsun 1600 roadster in my senior year in high school, 1974. Lotsa runs at night drifting the turns going back down. Way back then there were less people,my friends & I had the road to ourselves.

Awesome video, I might be a bit late to the party. But check for tyres in Japan using a parts importer to help you. They still have all the small tyres still. Manufacturers still make them, they just don't ship them to places like USA haha. By the time you pay for shipping, they don't end up being that much more expensive than if you were to buy them locally if they existed.
